Can the sickness end? Please???

I thought last week was behind us and we're moving on with healthy vibes....but, that's not happening!! Caroline is still sick, unfortunately :(. She now has an ear infection in one ear and is still vomiting. We think that is coming from the antibiotic, though. Madelyn is better after her round of it on Friday/Saturday. She must have felt fine because she was up at 5:40 this morning! Caroline is still upstairs upset b/c she doesn't want to nap, but she's oh so tired!

Today we had our porch screened in, which is awesome! We're looking forward to sitting outside in the spring! Madelyn loved watching the men work! Nonna took her to dance today since I coudn't leave with Caroline. We're a little stir crazy here in the Mamo house. I think I'm going to try to get her out of the house tomorrow to go somewhere even if we just walk around a store! :)

Caroline goes for her 15 month check up next Tuesday, followed by an eye appointment the following week for her hemangioma. Madelyn also has her 4 year check up in a couple of weeks! I'm anxious to see how much she weighs and her height.

Not much else is going on these days except for trying to keep everyone healthy! We hope this passes soon....very soon :). We're looking forward to March and some warmer weather, hopefully!

The chaos in our house...

This has been one heck of a week! Madelyn had her bowling party this past Sunday and it was a blast. I am so thankful the kids didn't break their toes dropping bowling balls on the floor! She loved it and really enjoyed having her friends with her! On her actual birthday we took her to CFA for lunch b/c that is what she wanted. She also missed school because of a runny nose/cough. That night, Nonna, Papa, Uncle Marc, Aunt Miss, and Paw-Paw came over for dinner and cake. She was so overtired by the time we cut the cake it was comical and she cried throughout the whole thing.

Fast forward to Tuesday and Caroline threw up in her bed a couple of times. It is now Friday and she's still sick. It is not fun seeing your baby so miserable! It does look like she is turning a corner finally, but we'll see. Danny also came home yesterday not feeling well.

I also started a new part time job at Gymboree once or twice a month and my first day was this past Wednesday. It was fun, but I was tired! I didn't get home until after 12:30!

Yesterday we had a playset built for the girls. It is great and we are so excited! Next week we are screening in our porch.

Tomorrow we head to High Point for a skating party with Jalen. That should be fun! I'll have to post pics later!

Our "baby" is almost 4!

In just a few days Madelyn turns 4! I cannot believe it. She is so excited about her upcoming birthday. We'll celebrate Sunday by having a bowling party with preschool friends and her best friend, Claire. On Monday I'll take cookies to preschool and we'll take her out to lunch at Red Robin. Later that night we'll have Nonna and Papa over for dinner/dessert. She wanted a Tinkerbell cake, so that it is!

Caroline has started standing alone lately and is pretty close to walking. It's so much fun to watch her. She's such a ham and Madelyn really enjoys playing with her. Caroline doesn't always agree with this and will cry at her or hit on her. Hmmm, sisterly love!

Madelyn is with Nonna today making Valentines cookies (homemade at that)! She takes her every Thursday so this gives Caroline and I some quiet time together. I love spending one on one time with each girl.

We've had awesome spring like weather lately---in the high 60's and low 70's. We've enjoyed the park several days this week! Madelyn had her preschool Valentine Party yesterday, so we joined her for that. The kids were adorable and made flowers, had cookies, and exchanged Valentine cards.

Danny and I will go out this weekend for Valentine's Day and Nonna will babysit! Yay! We'll probably just go to the movies, which will be nice!

Madelyn loves the Wii!

Sweet Caroline
